Suggestions on a new Smoker

I currently have a Little Chief smoker but it is on it's last legs and too small for what I want to do with it. I have looked at Bradley and few others but was wanting to see what you guys have and like and what ones you do not like. Now that I have retired I finally have time to start doing some more serious smoking like small elk or deer roasts and even birds. Not wanting to go nuts and get something that can cook for an Army but big enough for hams and roasts. I like to smoke salmon and trout too. Want something that is electric and give a true and real smoke flavor. Budget is max or $400. Thanks in advance.

A friend of mine has a Bradley that he got at Cabela's.  it is electric and uses pellets for the wood smoke.  His only problem has been when he ran out of pellets and couldn't find any.

I have a kettle style cooker/smoker that runs on propane.  I have to soak the wood that I then place in a pan on the bottom of it and have to watch the temperature just to make sure that it stays where I want it but it has done me quite well for 20 years.  I buy my wook chunks in 50 lb bag and usually bring home a couple hundred pounds of mesquete when I go down to Arizona since that is my prefered smoke for wild game.

Both electric and propane have their advantages but when I start to look for a new one it will be a electric one.
