I just got permission to hunt an 80 acre woods surrounded by picked fields, I scouted earlier this week and seen a 12 pt with large body. I found a scrape line and some trails, there is a half filled in pond seperating 2 parts of the woods. I figure I should set up where the 2 come back together, or should I set up on the scrape line? I missed most of the shotgun season but I will have all of muzzle loader. Do you guys have any suggestions? This area is used for cattle in the summer and no one else is allowed to hunt. Thanks for any help.

Suggestions for IN Muzzleloader Season
NEWBIE-I BELIEVE I WOULD HUNT WHERE THE DEER ARE HITTING THE PICKED FIELDS. I WOULD THINK THAT YOU WILL (WOULD) HAVE FOUND SOME TRAILS FROM THE WOODS TO THE FIELDS. LATE SEASON AS IT IS THEY SHOULD BE HAMMERING THOSE FIELDS. I LIVE IN HENDRICKS COUNTY BUT HUNT MOSTLY PARKE COUNTY, MY OBSERVATIONS AS OF LATE ARE. THE DEER ARE HERDED UP NOW, AND LATE EVENING HAS BEEN KILLER FOR ME. I HAVE NEVER HUNTED SOUTHWEST HENDRICKS COUNTY, BUT AS I TRAVEL TO PARKE COUNTY I ALLWAYS SEE DEER THERE. GOOD LUCK
