Congrats on the tag and good

Congrats on the tag and good luck. As those speedgoats aren't pressured I'm wondering if the more aggressive tactics (decoys, flagging etc) would work extra well on them.

Success

Well its a done deal now. I tagged out the first morning after hunting this goat for 4 hours. I crawled 1/2 mile on my hands and knees (I have blisters on my knees to prove it). And layed in the sun for over a hour waiting on my chance.

The game wardens called this buck "Gordo" and said he had been big like this for 3 or 4 years and figured he was at least 5 or 6 years old. He isnt very tall but has awesome mass and unreal prongs. Enough talking here are the pictures !

Took my buck first day as

Took my buck first day as well.  Check in station measured him at 13in 1/8.  Sat all day by a windmill and took him 200 yards down the fence line.  Had my hunting mentor with me grandpa.  Sure did make me forget about the 19 years it took to draw this OK tag.  Ranch owner was great, didn't charge us a thing.  Hard to find great men like that these days. But we plan on trading out the buck for some eastern OK catfish.
