Although, admittedly, I don't know that "cool" is the type of image that hunting needs.

Interesting survey results. The anti-hunting text book orientation, however, not a myth. You only have to read them. The survey would indicate that the text book orientation does not have a significant impact on student values which would be a departure from "conventional wisdom". Does anything in this survey explain this? Do the teachers in the survey group choose unique texts?
