one more pic of the ram. He ended up 39 1\2 on the long horn and broomed back to 35 on the other horn.
I got the best of both worlds with this ram. Broomed and length.
the other pic is packing the beast out. While working on the ram we did have to shoo a grizzly away. That added a little excitement to the hunt. We also got to charge a grizzly while on horses. the guide wanted to teach the griz respect. It was pretty fun galloping at the griz and watching it run away.
Great hunt. Lots of hard work. Very expensive hunt but if you want the grand slam you got to pony up. Thank you las vegas market for giving me the money to do this hunt. I won the lottery at a tradeshow.
Northern BC is as remote as any place around. IF you get the chance to drive up the alcan and down the cassiar highway i would recommend it.

I'm surprised that long horn didn't break 40! Congratulations. The sheep slam is my greatest hunting goal. Above alaska... above africa... above all.

Wow, that is extremely impressive.  

As crazy as it sounds, I want to complete the North American Sheep Grand Slam with a bow, but all on DIY hunts.  To be honest, I'm not even sure that is possible.  Not to mention the fact that it'll be a lifelong journey applying every year for years on end before getting the chance.  If I do accomplish it, I will be one happy man.  That's an awfully big goal to set for myself, but if you're gonna set goals, set 'em high!
