Is there anyone out there that lives in or near Dallas Tx....I have an address of 2021 Columbus st Dallas Texas to an A Watson...The subject called me and said he had my dog...Went to the location within 10 minutes and nothing,not even a signal...The number on my caller ID was 214-969-5489...it comes back to that address,but the number comes back to a pay phone...The dog is a bluetick looking dog with TA branded on his ears...He also has RC branded on his side...He was picked up on the 300 rd on the rim here in AZ ....There is a reward for the dog if found...A bigger reward if the suspect is beat to a pulp when found.....If you need to call me , you can do so at 928-925-6336....Thx Coop

Stolen hound in Arizona....

UPDATE:::::

First of all, thanks for everyones help and interest in trying to get my Wtatt dog back...I have good news , he's back ...It got a little western at one point....Apparently these elk hunters had my tracking collar in a tool box in the back of their truck....It was giving off a weak signal, but a signal none the less. I told my friend to start going down every road in the unit , and thats how he got a signal..He drove by a camp that he had drove by several times and he saw my dog standing in the doorway of the camp trailer . Two guys were in camp skinning an elk.. My buddy calls Wyatt over to his truck and loads him up . My other collars are on the dog , but no trackng colllar...My buddy confronts them about the tracking being off and finds it in the tool box. The guys can't give a good explanation why its off and an arguement ensues..Words like idiot,stupid, thief and a few others are exchanged . One of the guys starts walking towards him with a skinning knife in his hand,but decides different when my buddy shows him his pistol on his hip...Deciding not to bring a knife to a gun fight , the guy puts the knife down...Some more choice words are exchanged and my freind leaves.....So Wyatt is 10-8 and Im a happy camper...

It realy amazes me to hear all the stories of people stealing other peoples dogs. I had no idea it happens so much but now that I have a hunting dog and talk and listen to other guys that have them, I find out its very common. I think it should be considered grand theft and be a felony to steal someones dog/companion.

this is the second hound Randy had stolen in less then a month down in Arizona. He is prosecuting the first women because she took off all the collars and left them along the road and then took the hound to a shelter claiming she found it running the road. Her mistake was shouting her mouth off at work about it and a co-worker over heard and told a friend of a friend. After the scottsdale police question her she confessed to removing the collars because she saw it was a hunting dog.
