Good Luck

I hope you can locate him when you are back hunting the area.
A few years back I had an eye on a real Cranker of a buck, and on the first morning before legal time I had him standing against the brush at 150 yds but could not distinguish that it was him for sure.
Long story short he wandered into the draw and well after legal time I spotted him come out of the draw but by then he had made his way into Grasslands Nat'l Park...never to be seen by me again.
I still dream about him... Cry baby

Hey guys

Again, thanks for the words of encouragement, appreciate it! I hunted the 15th and 16th of this month back in that area. Saw does on the evening hunt first day. Then on Sat. morning while slowly still hunting into the wind on the top of a small feeder canyon actually heard the crashing of antlers and moving only when I heard horns crash got within 60 yds of two smaller bucks. There were three does I could see with em. Didn't try to make a move on em as I'm still holding out for trying to get something big. Watched em in hopes something bigger might be drawn in until they either scented or heard me and disappeared. Hurricane winds blew me outta there that afternoon. Heading out there next Tuesday for a day hunt. Then I work graveyard Thanksgiving night and will be heading out after shift Friday morning to go camp back in this area and hunt thru Sunday. We'll see what happens?
