It was gonna happen sooner or later

Freak accident, very sad and unfortunate.

You couldn't help but like the guy, but I'm surprised he lived this long.

He turned a lot of people off by holding his baby while feeding a croc, too bad he'll be remembered for that as well as saving a lot of animals.

I think he went the way he'd like to go.

I loved his shows and stuff. I was very surprised when I read that a stingray had killed him.

You could tell he really liked his job! My kids thought he was nuts grabbing snakes by the tail!!

I have very mixed feelings about the guy. Either he had real guts, or he was the dumbest person around. He obviously cared deeply about wildlife, and yet how many people have tried to pick up a poisonous snake, or grab an alligator by the tail, because they saw him do it? I know of at least one.

Mostly, I feel sorry for his wife and kids. Even if he went the way he wanted to, they're the ones who will be cheated.
