Stained capes

I have seen a lot of pictures of happy hunters with goats that they have taken whose capes are stained badly with blood. Taxidermists must have no problem getting it out however because you never see mounts that are stained. Anyone know what they are using that isn't degrading the quality of the fur?

On most mounts you don't have

On most mounts you don't have to worry about blood getting to where it would be on the coat or mounted part of the skin.  But if you do a little bit of field care can do a lot.  A little bit of water on a rag and wipe as much of it off as you can.  That and along with the tanning process will remove what blood there is.  The big thing to remember is that blood is a lot easier to remove when it is still wet than it is once it dries
