I would love to see the

I would love to see the animal, from a "Wow" standpoint.  However, the whole story of this bull, the controversy, they $$$$$$$$ paid, all stink to me.  I have never felt good about the Spyder Bull.

Awesome bull though, for sure. If I lived close by, I might swing in to take a look.

It is really a nice bull, but

It is really a nice bull, but i did see a year ago and it just doesn't look like right to me.  funny lookin!!  For every record size animal there will always be a story that doesn't sound right, this bull had a big story and greed pushing all around.  Just give it a few years and there will be another bull out there with a new story.

I work w/ a guy who is

I work w/ a guy who is friends with the guy that shot the spyder bull. I can't remember his name but he is worth big $$$ and paid if memory serves me right 125K give or take a few to buy the gov tag for Utah. I don't remember the name of the outfitter he was using without looking it up but they were keeping tags on the bull thoughtout the summer until he got him.

Apparently he was hunting the early muzzleloader hunt from how the story goes and ended up getting sick. Two weeks later he came back w/ rifle and the outfitters had tracked the bull 10 miles away from where they were origionally hunting him w/ a smoke pull. I'm guessing he paid a lot to the outfitters for that much manpower to keep tags on one elk but when you pay that much for a gov tag you can pretty much do what you want

I too do not agree with

I too do not agree with having to pay big bucks and all the crap that went down with this bull being harvested, but it would just be pretty cool to see it and how big it really looks while standing next to it.  I would like to go but we are headed to South Dakota that weekend.
