Spring... Will it ever come...?

NY Archer,
I live out in Pittsfield, MA about 45 minutes east of Albany. We are planning on heading out that way this spring for a day of striper fishing on the the Hudson. Maybe we can all meet up sometime. I'll keep you posted.

Spring... Will it ever come...?

I am the Big Game member formerly known as StrokerAce I changed my name to match my Yahoo Instant Messenger ID & Yahoo E-Mail Address... BigE, thanks for the input I own a Mossburg and I love it. I'm a Union Carpenter and believe in spending my money on American made products. But I haven't found a shotgun that can match the mechanical ingenuity and the "Advantage Camo" on "Bennelli" shotguns (Italy)or "Traditions" blackpowder rifles (Italy & Spain) I have never owned one and I'm wondering about workmanship and quality

Bennelli makes a beautiful shotgun, but they are a little too rich for my taste. The Mossberg is cheap, accurate, and extremely deadly for birds. I am a remington man for most of the rest of my shotguns. I do have a Franchi 12gauge from Italy though. Nice gun.
For muzzleloaders, I have to stick to my favorite and that is the Thompson Center Omega. Nothing like it in the world, except for the Encore. But, for the price, Traditions are great.

I think this year is the first hunting season for turkey and you can get 2 after you get your turkey license.

Our spring season for 2006 is going to be a tad late this year. I think I am going to do all my hunting with a bow this time around.
