I am sooo ready and looking forward to hunting......but i wont be able to hunt as much as normal this year. I am a sophmore in high school and i have played baseball since i was 3 it was and is my faveriot athletic sport.. but hunting is my passion.... halfway through the season last year i had a slight break in my lower back..that cause muscle spasms and inflamed back when i tried running ansd swinging.. so i was put on the injured roster .. and couches docter and i decided to take the year off from baseball and football do physical theropy and such. so i had a lot of extra time to hunt.. i ended up getting 2 gobblers.. last year and was about 15 ft away from the slam... (washington 3 turkeys total all spiecies...)
but it didnt work out...well this year i am back for base ball witch is from feburary 24th till about the end of may to beginning of june...depends.. soo i will only have limited weekends and spring break week... butill make the best of it good luck to all!

Oh man I am ready also! I just went out and did some scouting today and ran across three flocks of birds Thumbs up . Probably saw 50 birds in all. And it was the first time I have ever seen a Wild Turkey in real life. I have attempted to hunt Turkey for several seasons where I used to live with no luck. But I just moved to Idaho recently and it looks as though my luck might be picking up Yes .

I am ready to roll I will be heading to the NWTF national convention next month and upon my return heading to Florida to start a 3 month travel agenda of guiding filming and turkey killin. I'll be in several states again this year and guiding for all four sub species. I have a couple of folks signed on for a slam season so it should be interesting. I will do my best to keep you guys posted. I just finalized an order for a new video editing system that can travel with me and get me on the internet wherever theres a wireless connection available. Big smile

Went scouting this past weekend and found a couple of areas near two flocks roosts. Hopefully they will still be there when the season rolls around. This will be my first time Turkey Hunting so I am excited. Have a buddy who is going to help me out there. I am also planning on goiong to the NWTF conference if my schedule permits.
