spring bear hunting

Hi I am new to this forum but I recently just got my spring bear tag and have never hunted bear. I am wondering if there is anything that anyone could tell me that would help, like types of places to look for and what not. Thanks in advance!

It would help to know where

It would help to know where you are located at and some of the regulations that you need to adhear to.  Such as baiting, spot and stalk, chasing them with dogs?

Get where you can see a lot

Get where you can see a lot of country and use your binoculars.  Look at the green meadows or clear cuts early in the morning or a couple of hours before dark for your best chances of finding one.
