I'm kicking around the idea of trying out the south san juan area in 08' for an archery elk hunt. Iv'e got the stats for units 78 80 81, i would like to hear from people who have hunted there and how your trip was. What was the weather, hunting pressure, terraine, best place to access the wilderness area, what was your camp setup like? Thanks for your reply.
