south east Wyoming hunt

I'm planning an elk hunt in southeastern Wyoming.I've been to Kaycee and Ten Sleep area but that was for deer.My long time hunting friend wants one more shot at an elk,I've agreed to go with him but,he isn't in the best of health anymore.I do my elk hunting in Avery and Weippe Idaho.I understand that they have opened up some HMA land in Wyoming but don't know if any would be in the south east.I saw this forum and thought someone might be able to lead me to a town or area.Thanks

south east Wyoming hunt

There isn't much elk hunting in Southeast Wyoming. However, there are herds on National Forest lands near Laramie and Wheatland.
