Man a good friend just got back from South Dakota and I finally went over to his desk to hear the short story. Grouse, pheasant, ducks, deer, and pronghorn. Hunted a solid week and doing spike camps on the properties. Insane on how many animals they were able to hunt in one week. None stop action and moving from one property to another. Happy for him.

Yeah, lots of good stuff
Yeah, lots of good stuff going on up there. I had a buddy in high scholl who would go every year with his father and other family members out there for a week. They would do a combo pheasant and waterfowl hunt.
That's just small game, not even talking about all the big game you mentioned. They had a blast, and came back with some great stories and photos. Beautiful country up there too.

Now that's the kind of action
Now that's the kind of action I like! I have looked at South Dakota quite a bit on the net but just not sure how hard it is to get the deer and goat tags. I would love to do a combo hunt and then any small game thrown in would be just an extra bonus.

I have a buddy who owns a
I have a buddy who owns a place and goes up to the Mobridge SD area. He said it is some of the best hunting and fishing in the world. He has offered to take me a few times but with my career it will have to wait until I retire. He talks of hunting upland birds, waterfowl and deer in the mornings, fishing the afternoon for walleyes and hunting in the evenings. Sounds like a perfect day to me. I will take him up on the offer as soon as I can that is for sure.
