South Dakota / North Dakota Pronghorn 2009 - Public Land

Greetings,

As a graduation present for my son I would like to plan an archery hunt for Pronghorns in either SD or ND. This will be the first time for both of us to hunt for Pronghorns. Any suggestions on public land opportunities would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty much a matter of doing your homework, There is alot of land to hunt on.

Northwest SD has some great public land antelope opportunities. I have been hunting there for the past few years and get a nice, respectable goat each year (13"-14.5"). The farther you get away from the road and way back in there the better. Last year I was three miles from the road, on public land and was aways from other hunters. If you put in the time there are quite a few goats in western SD.
