somebody to hunt with

Hey guys, just seeing if anyone on here hunts waterfowl in western colorado and if you ever need an extra gun.I really dont have anyone to hunt with on a regular basis.I have duck and goose dekes and a layout blind.I have a little access to some private but usually just hunt public.I am missing one key ingrediant and that is a dog but i am trying to fill that void by 2012-13 season.I really dont have much expierence in proper calling and spread placement. It sounds like it is gonna be an epic year but that depends on the weather.good luck and good hunting.

I live up in Cedaredge.  I

I live up in Cedaredge.  I have not hunted waterfowl or any small game other than coyotes and prarie dogs since I moved over her in '99.  I used to hunt them pretty heavily but got a bit spoiled by all the flocks around Severance and Windsor.  I always loved it though and miss doing it, just wish I had more time--it is amazing how much your life changes when you are not 21 years old,  single and without kids.

I knnow very little about

I knnow very little about waterfowl hunting myself but I'm sure you'll get some takers before long.

Western Colorado is a pretty big place though so you'll need to be a little more specific.

My 2 brother's live on the western slope, let me know where your at and I can hook you up with their numbers if youd like. I think they are planning on doing some waterfowl hunting this year around glenwood springs or even closer to delta or anywhere between lol... They might need and extra gun since I've been down here in FL the last couyple years.

Not sure about the western

Not sure about the western side, but Goosehunter (aptly named Wink ) does alot on the eastern side.

Good luck finding a partner!

I do hunt alot on the eastern

I do hunt alot on the eastern side of Colorado , but very rarely venture to the dark side as we like to put it.  I do not know if I can plug another forum but try this place,  I am a member there also and there are a few guys from there in your neck of the woods.  if you vist the place just have some thick skinn...the guys can be brutal especially to new guys....alot different that this place.

screw colorado waterfowlers

screw colorado waterfowlers lol that website is full of assholes and arogants people. I'd skip that place if I were you. I joined several years back and after a few posts there decided it's not the place for me. Your better off trying duckhuntingchat.com and trying under your states forum...
