Tonight, I was out hunting for the last half hour after school and a jeep drives past me and goes up to the public land that im hunting near. And stops and gets out. (I hunt near public land I know what your thinking thats even dumber to not lock up your near public land...but it's bordered by private land so that's why these guys were driving in.) So I gave them 5 minutes then get down from my stand quietly and stalk up to there truck to get the license plate number or w/e. So I write it down in my phone. I walk back out and go to the land owners house to ask them if they have permission to hunt on there land duh duh duh they do. aaahhh. I wanted them to be some people that didnt have permission to hunt on there land and then we call the dnr and they take care of it but that didnt happen. And they couldnt have taken my camera because they just asked permission a day ago and haven't been on there land untill today.

Bugs, it sounds like you may
Bugs, it sounds like you may need to start looking another place to hunt. First your camera was stolen and now you have other people hunting on top of you.
Not to mention the fact the landowner didn't even tell you they let someone else hunt. There isn't much you can do about it but the landowner should have at least informed you. It sounds like it's getting crowded to me. Good luck.

Haha I was thinking the same
Haha I was thinking the same thing. I was scouting out some other properties I have permission to hunt so I think im gonna put up a stand on a property tommorrow morning and then hunt it friday night and the rest of the weekend. Then on monday - thursday my parents are going out of town so i'm gonna be hunting near my house so I can just walk. I have hunted on his property before and it's pretty good but a lot of times he has other people hunting it just not next week.

Good luck with the new spot.
Good luck with the new spot. I hate having to find a new spot during the season, but sometimes you just have to do it. Setting up the stand is not the problem for me it is clearing all the shooting lanes. Often I miss some branches until I actually sit and hunt.

Oh but the only bad thing is
Oh but the only bad thing is I can only hunt it this weekend so I sure hope that deer are moving cause it looks like if they are I will more than likely have a shot. But also the deer could come in from like a couple of other spots but other than that I will hopefully have deer in range.

Yeah, I hate having things
Yeah, I hate having things stolen. I have had stands stolen a few times. Last year I had a camera stolen. It was kind of funny though. This camera has a code you have to put in to operate it. Anytime it is turned off you had to put in the 5 digit code. If you don't know the or forgot the code you could call the company and get it reset. The only thing about that would be you would have to give them all of your personal information to reset a new code. If it doesn't match they can't operate the camera then. It sucks that it got stolen but the thief can't use it either.
