Hi I am a moose hunter and have hunted moose successfully in this area for twenty years or so. Just down for a couple seasons but hoping to be hunting full bore next year.
I find most years it is not hard to get my moose now the season is only one week the weather can really kill most chances but it has not been bad when I went out.
Does anyone else hunt this area there is some great oportunities here for a LED draw?? 
First of all, welcome to the site! Make sure to browse the forums and check them out.
As for Moose, especially in Canada, you might find a little information. I know there are a few guys from the Alberta/Saskatchewan area that stop by the boards every now and then, but not sure how regularly. In the meantime, I would search this section (Canada) and also check the Moose section and see what you can dig up.

Welcome. Alway nice to have another Canuck around. I'm not intimately familiar with the Smithers area, but being in the interior I'm sure the hunting is incredible and the scenery even better.
What do they hunt over in Ottawa well If you could open a season on corrupt polititions you may get a land slide of business
