Have the smilies been disabled? I get the text when I click on them but then the actuall smilie doesn't show up in the post. :

I had the same thing happen
I had the same thing happen to me but they seem to be working now. Although, I haven't tried putting 2 together yet.
The other issue I run into is the smiles will insert at the beginning of the post, even though the curser is at the end of the sentence. What's up with that?
Now that one worked. Maybe it's operator headspace issues. 
No, I just fugured out what's happening. If I use 1 of the 13 smiles below, everything works fine but if I click on more...for the other smiles then the smile is inserted at the beginning of the post.

I figured out that if you
I figured out that if you click on the more smilies then the cursor automaticly go up to the beging of the post and you have to move it back to where you want it. It is interesting in that before I made this post I replied to two other post and put smilies in them and neither of them showed up.

We have noticed some quirks with the smileys. One thing to be aware of is, clicking the space bar twice adds an invisible character, and can mess up the smiley, which is why you sometimes see text and not the smiley. If you click the more link, the cursor does move to the beginning of your post. Don't have an answer for that one.
Looks like some questions for our programmer...
