Single Shots

I have not had the opportunity to shoot a high power rifle in a single but have used a single shot 22 and a single shot 12 ga. You can get pretty quick with a single shot. I used to put the extra shells between my fingers and reloaded very quick (with practice).

ya i can load pretty quick too once you do it for a couple years you get the hang just like other things practice makes perfect.

Single Shots

Well Thx for the comments but im satisfied with my gun after today. ME and a co-worker went to the shooting range today and hes a shooting guru. I got my gun sighted in at sub 1 1/2 groups at 100yds shooting remington 150 gr core lokt express.

Thats plenty good for any hunting you will be doing. Enjoy the rifle.

Your single shot sounds fine, good luck. In my humble opinion, the barrel has far more to do with how acurate a gun is, rather than the action.

Nothin' wrong with an accurate single shot, which teaches you to always make the first shot count.
