Coming a little early here this year. I've had hens sitting since early January, but the last hatch mostly failed. Came home to some peeping in the coop, right on cue on day 21. Hopefully the rest of the clutch hatch tonight or tomorrow.
Any other signs where you live?
I always see it as a sign of spring when the mailorder seed and plant catalogs arrive. Mine came a few weeks ago. 
I don't believe in the ground hog, But Here in Michigan, when i start seeing Skunks dead on the road, Spring is getting close, and i have been seeing and smelling them for about 2 weeks now.
