Sighting in...rests..bags...what do you use?

Just interested in hearing what everyone is using to sight in with.....

I would recomend holding the gun in the hands the same way you would do in the field. If you pin the top of the gun down to the sandbag while sighting in you are not allowing the gun to rise naturally like it will when you are hunting. The bullet will hit the bulls eye on the range but when you hunt it will hit up to 10 inches high depending on the distance because the slug travels slower than a rifle bullet. After you pull the triger and before the bullet leaves the barrel your muzzle will already start to come up, affecting the point of impact.

Use something steady to get zeroed in so you know your gun is on target. Then practice in hunting situations.

I meant with both elbows on a bench, just let the gun pull up when it wants to.
