sighting in 870

how is the best way to sight in a 12 gauge 870 express magnum with rifiled sights with out breaking the bank the sabot slugs are expensive..does a bore sighter work?? what can i do to not flinch yes i have a problem with flinching...

A bore-sight will help get you in the right ballpark. But, you'll still have to throw some rounds through to fine tune it to the range you want. Shouldn't take more than 3-6 rounds, though.

Make sure you use a really good bench rest. This will eliminate any flinch impacts, as you're not really holding the rifle ... you're just pulling the trigger. In the field, hopefully your adrenaline rush at seeing a legal animal in range will override any rational behavior problems like a flinch.
