Nice looking animal there. Another satisfied scent control customer! I don't scent control as much as I think I should but I do believe in the stuff. I have used scent-a-way products with great success.

Awssome deer! Is that one of those elusive Maine bucks? If so what part of Maine did you get him?

This is a Central Maine, farm country buck. Yesterday a friend of mine took an 8 pointer that is almost as impressive. We have very difficult terrain to hunt (thick heavy cover) so when you take a giant like this you will earn it.
When I bring hunters in to harvest a Red Stag in our preserve, they often ask " How do you hunt white-tail in this heavy cover?".........Very skillfully I reply...

burrman,
Those are some awsome animals! (The red deer). I will be in Argentina in March (red deer season!) and would love to hunt them but, the cost is too much for me. One day I will be back there (my wife is from Argentina) and hopefully I will get the chance then. While I am there this time I will be doing 3 different 1 day hunts (2 for boar with a knife! and one for black buck) and talking to the locals to see about hunting red stag when I go back in a few years.
Is that the best whitetail you have taken?
