V-C. I see that you are from T-Bay. In Ontario they have "one-stop shopping" wrt hunters/firearm safety. It's all one course, it's typically run over a weekend with 2 exams: one being the Federal firearm safety exam (which Chester was refering to) and the other being the Ontario Hunter's Safety.

If you already have your PAL, you have one chance to challenge the Hunter's Safety Exam. It's not a hard test at all, but you will have to study for it. There are questions on there that unless you've thoroughly read the Hunter's Safety manual and Hunting Regulations Summary you probably won't know. For example I now know that the little red circles I see painted on some fence posts around mean "no trepassing". There's not many questions like that - but the pass mark is 90% so you can only get 6 wrong. The practical is identical to the CFC course.

Courses cost about $100, after you buy all the books you need; or 20-30 to challenge the exam. Check out the OFAH website (huntingontario.com?) - they have a list of instructors from all areas of Ont.

Vegan would have to learn that being a hunter doesn't mean you're a redneck first.

This post by vegan_cannibal was originally deleted due to obscene language. We've decided to add it back, with those words replaced with ****.

V_C's post:

Oh it appears it's far from over- well my time here looks like it's nearly done- poll is probably gonna end with me losing- oh well. But ******** here really wants to fuel things- and is spending a great deal of time and effort "googling" me in various search engines- like SearchScout- I got your I.P. address now so I'm hoping this war will end before it starts- (I don't want to fight with you) and you can enjoy your internet service without being packeted and I can move on in my life to do my things. I don't understand why I'm so important to you, that you feel the need to stalk me down and basically threaten me. It must be robbing you from valuable gay internet porn time- Am I really worth it? to the rest of you guys- thanks for all the support, it's too bad ******** here ruined a chance for an "Anti" to get to know you all a bit better- and maybe change my philosphies around hunting more in certain aspects- It's Ironic that anti's are trying to end your sport and you got ass wipes like QuickSilver and CaptainObvious making it easier for us/them - I admit I started off on the wrong track- by calling the dude who shot his neighbour a redneck, but I quickly restated my intentions here and had a sincere goal here to change a bit of my own mindset- I can relate some, to why you hunt and realize and that I can never change this. but what-ever it was an experiment that went bad- still it was an interesting experience.
