If you look back at our history, you can see that the moral demise of our society started back in the 60's with the liberal hippies. That's when the majority started to appease everyone else through political correctness. This, in turn has stifled our thought process. Their music was great, but their ideology was way off.
Oh yeah....my parents. I love them dearly, but we really don't see eye to eye when it comes to politics.
I used to be a firm believer in this idea as well. That is until I began reading up on just how liberating the WWI generation became during the 1920's.
As far as hippies go. How can we call the so-called Greatest Generation the greatest when it was them who sprung the hippy "baby boomer" generation. I judge a generation by their offspring and by that measure in my opionion the so-called "Greatest Generation" F*cked up big time!!! By the way I would have been a baby boomer if my parents had gotten with it and had kids when they were supposed to. But the way things turned out they had us later in life, making my brothers and I the heart of Generation X.
If you ask me I think my latch-key generation has realised a lot of the mistakes made within the last 40 years and I see a lot of the young Gen Z being raised with more family time and I also see more younger Gen Y'ers embrassing religion more than my generation ever did, at least that's my observation. Hopefully things will come full circle, only time will tell.
