Short vid, The softer side of hunting

Here is some vid I have shot this year, I haven't got out as much as I would like but thought I would try and show the lighter side of hunting and let people know its not all about killing, just get out doors and see how great it is...... Its about the hunt and how peaceful it can really be.......But there is a big one coming!!!

Check it out!!

His antler

Hey guy’s that growth is his antler  its turned into a big drop tine but I heard that a big chunk of it fell off. There was a woman out there shooting photo’s of wild life and apparently has some great pic’s of it and featured it in a western news magazine here in Canada. Heading back there next weekend if I see him again I will try and get some better video.

No bucks yet but my Mulie season is still open and I'll get one more crack at it next week, I've been searching for a double drop tine buck that I've had a couple encounters with but if I don't see him by the second day some one else might take a arrow!

Cool video!

Thanks for sharing!  I have watched more than my share of hunting shows that were filmed in Saskatchewan and have to say, that has to be at the top of most hunter's buckets list for places to go!  I really like the tall buck that jumps out behind the nice buck by the barb-wire fence!  I thought that growth looked like it was coming out or the deer's eye also.  I'll have to dig up a picture that I took last year of a doe that has a crazy tumor hanging from one of her teats.  It didn't appear to affect her much at all and there were two young bucks chasing her, so it obviously didn't make a difference to them eitherlol !

That is a really neat video.

That is a really neat video. That really tall buck is really cool and the buck that the camera is on before him has some pretty unique character. He almost has a more white tail-ish rack. His mainbeam is more sweeping and looks like most of the tines come off of it. The video is well edited and I like it a lot. Good work. Now I am just waiting for you to post a video that is edited this well but that shows you getting one of these bad boys. Good luck!

Hope you don't mind

I'm not trying to take over you thread but in my reply yesterday I mentioned a doe with a tumor.  Well I finally found the picture so I thought I would share it.

Thanks again for the very cool video!

Awesome Video

Great stuff GH. I have hunted that area for atleast 20 years and never ever seen a drop tine on anything. It is mule deer heaven for sure.
