Moose

Saw this one last year in Colorado near the town of Rand. I did not have a tag but sure was fun to see and in my mind he was mine. I will try again next year and maybe get lucky and draw a tag. Colorado is on bull in a lifetime too so you want to take an animal that is worthy of that status.

First off congrats on the

First off congrats on the tag...someday I will have one.  Second nice job in getting up there and finding some atleast they are giving you a great starting point.  they both look like decent bulls, but I am with you with a once in a lifetime tag you really want to shoot a good one.  But I think I would be happy with one of them on my wall.  Not alot of pople get to hunt them so I would be privlidged to get any moose.  Good luck on your hunt and keep the pictures coming!

Nice Bull

Archeryelk, that is a great looking bull and would look great in my living room. He would certainly be worth filling that once in a lifetime tag with.  I wish it was not so hard to draw a tag in Colorado too but with only a small amount of tags not much we can do. Just grateful we have a good and growing herd and are able to hunt them.

I was up near Gould camping with the little boy and tooling around on the ATV and I just happen to come across a holder of a Govenors Tags for Moose!!  he passed on a mid 40's earlier that morning up around Cameron Pass.  He would have been tickled to death to come acroos that big boy.

getting close

Well the hunt starts this weekend and I have found a monster bull. I couldn't get a clear picture of it, it was dark before I could get the camera out. Hopefully I can get him.
