I don't mind the spelling, but it would be nice if you would take off the caps lock.

You can get a brochure on bighorn sheep from the Colorado DOW at http://wildlife.state.co.us/Brochures/

My understanding is that non-residents need 8-9 preference points to get a tag. Success rates for those who draw tags tend to be very high, though.

Good luck!

You could consider Alaska Dall Sheep too, although I think you would be required to employee a guide in AK per state requirements for non-residents. British Columbia has dall sheep as well...

Sheep hunting IS the ultimate.

I took a ram on 8/31 in Idaho 27-1. Idaho is somewhat unique in that it doesn't have pref points. Everyone starts equal every year. Some units are 1/300 chance (or worse), others are 1/10 (or better). The unit with the toughest odds is the best hunt; the unit with the best odds (of drawing) is the toughest hunt (and, in fact, most tags don't fill).

An archery hunt in 27-1 would be so ultimate that it would be inconceivable in my mind, unless you are certain you don't want to bag an animal - and once you look at the unit (350 sq. miles, roadless, rugged) - you may decide not to bag one anyway.
