Can any one tell me if I can put "See Thru Scoop Rings" on a CZ 550 Safari 375 H&H Mag.? I would like to be able to use both a Scoop & the open sights on this rifle! Any Thoughts or any body done this? Thanks-Tim.
Before you get the rings/mounts you have to know or have the scope that you are going to mount. 30 mm or 1 " tube ? length, may require off set rings if scope too long/too short. If you are near a good gun shop/ gunsmith and tell them what you want, a set of see-through rings for your rifle BUT you must have scope info.
I never seen a rifle that could be scope equipped that Weaver didn't have a mounting system for that model., so it's available
You may want to post in the Optics section, someone may have the exact info infront of them.
If I find the exact info, I'll attach it here for you.
Here's the USA contact address, phone, email, whatever. I would ask their opinion on see-thru mounts. See thrus may not be recommended because of the heavy recoil or they should be able to suggest the product to use. I have no experience with the heavy recoil rifles, I know that there are bases designed for heavy magnum calibres, so I'm just kinda wondering
Everyone has different ideas about trophy pictures. Looks around and you will see "long armers," "set behinders," "big cheesers," and "blood covered brutes." I have a few tips to keep your trophy pictures from being laughers or worse yet just plain gross.
#1 Clean it up. Try to avoid bullet holes, gut pile, mass amounts of blood, and the tongue sticking out. You don't want your big buck to look like a angry 1st grader with his tongue out or a MMA fighter during the 3 round.
#2 Long arming...
