I'll be out with my flintlock in Susquehanna County, PA. I'm usually the only one hunting a couple hundred acres of land. Does anyone use scents this late in the season? I'm thinking I might try some nonthreatening doe urine around my stand. If anything it may help to mask my scent alittle.

Sounds like you got a nice little spot! Thumbs up I usually use some form of scent usually doe urine

bskid,
What part of the county are you hunting? I used to hunt a 86 acre piece of land that was a part of a 1600 acre valley that was totaly undeveloped in Montrose. It was deer hunting heaven. When the owner died we lost the hunting rights. It was the best hunting area I ever had. sad

I hunt in the Susquehanna School District. Already have been alot of big buck taken around the area(that restriction is an awesome law), I'm hoping a few are still running around. During rifle season alot of Jersey guys flood the woods. And I mean flood. But seems like nobody hunts flintlock so I've got free range.

I like being out late in the season too because it does seem that no one else is around. Good luck.

I don't see many people either. I see the most people the first week rifle and the 3 day bear season.
