Second Archery in PA

Well, just a few more days of rifle in PA then we have the muzzleload and 2nd archery seasons.....just curious how many of you guys/girls get out for flintlock or 2nd archery?

I haven't tried flintlock yet, but would like too.....love archery so like to get out and freeze my butt off during second archery! Thumbs up

I will be out for second archery also still have both my tags left so you won't be the only one freezing. What area are you hunting?

I'll be hunting a bunch of different areas including SGL's 209, 13, 57 and some private land up in the Bradford county area too.

I'll be using a crossbow for the second round, I'll only need my triger finger out in the cold.

definitely a challenge in that cold weather! I''m after a big boy I missed during the 1st archery and he survived rifle (went nocturnal) so I'll see what I can do starting Dec. 26th, I might try and set up a trail cam before then and get some pics of him.

I'll be out with my flintlock in Susquehanna County, PA. I'm usually the only one hunting a couple hundred acres of land. Does anyone use scents this late in the season? I'm thinking I might try some nonthreatening doe urine around my stand. If anything it may help to mask my scent alittle.
