Alpine wrote," All my permits are for citrus this year" What's the deal, you have too many oranges this year, that you have to cull the oranges?  No, seriously. What are you referring to when you make that statement?

Alpine, I live in NW Fla.

Alpine, I live in NW Fla. Okaloosa county, however I work in Walton County where the main office is surrounded by Point Washington WMA.

There are several WMAs close by including Pine Log WMA, Econfina WMA, Blackwater WMA and Lafayette Creek WMA to name a few but these are mostly Limited Entry units and Permits go quickly.

Then there is the Choctawhatchee River which is part of the NWFWMD area which is pretty nice but is mostly accessible only by Boat but I don't hunt it regularly.

My lease is in Bay County...actually it is right where Bay, Gulf and Calhoun county all come together.

I just checked this weekend.

I just checked this weekend. I was drawn for several permit hunts here. I'll have to wait until 1 Oct to see if I get drawn for any bear permit hunts.
