We headed out to a local Managment Area this morning for a little scouting. We knew it was going to be wet, but man it was REALLY wet. Water every where and lots of cotton mouths around too. We won't be able to hunt most of our normal locations due to the high water.
We were able to see a few deer and stumbled across a small but nice 4x shed that was next to some newer scrapes. The buck must frequent the area alot because he had it tore up in there. The creeks were over flowing and the deer and hogs seemed to be on the higher ridges away from all the standing water. Still not a whole lot of rubs and scrapes yet. It's still a little early I guess.
