No Mike, the "5" per day rule

No Mike, the "5" per day rule is strictly for the new "threads" that any given person can start.  People were posting 25 new threads a day, based on who knows what, just to get the 200 points per post.  To do away with alot of that random posting, they said that they will only award points to the 5 of your threads started in a 24 hour period.

As for plain old posts where you are replying to threads, go ahead and keep posting away.  Comment as much as you like.  Points are done on a sliding scale, so you will get less points per reply if you keep replying tothe same thread, but you still will get some points.  If you want to tell hutning stories from your experiences, then go ahead and post them in the "Submit a story and Photo" section.  Follow the rules of posting, make it a nice long one, and post a few photos with it, and you'll score some points.  It appears that they are limiting that to 50,000 points for stories this month, but that is still plenty.  You can post as many stories as it takes to get to that many points.

Good Luck!

Thanks for clearing it up!  I was quite confused.

I'm also having trouble finding the stories I posted.  I'd like to go back to them and add photos but I can't seem to locate them.  I can find the "tips" and forum posts I added but I don't see "stories"

Any guidance on where I should look?  And thanks in advance.  Mike

The stories are under the

The stories are under the community, photos and stories heading, but I do not believe you can edit them once they are submitted unless they are rejected.

Ahhhhh...ok.  When I couldn't find the story I thought I might have just hit "preview" and not "save" or made some similar error.  I'll assume that the stories are going to show up soon then.  I will review the scoring link above too, Thanks
