If all your measurements are

If all your measurements are correct except the abnormal point this is the way it should look.

LMB -16 7/8

LG 1- 1 4/8

LG 2 - 6 1/8

LG 3 - 5

LH 1 - 4 4/8

LH 2 - 4

LH 3 - 3 7/8

LH 4 - 3 7/8

Abnormal point ?????

Total =?????

(Look at the G-2 and see which point is straightest off of the beam coming up. This would be your G-2 measurement. Then, where the beam splits this would be your abnormal point. So, your G-2 measurement may change, there is no G-4, then you add on the abnormal point and this will give you your total score). I hope this isn't too confusing. Just edit your post and we will see how it turns up. Too bad he didn't have both sides, he would have been a super nice blacktail.

destroyer, I'm not sure you

destroyer, I'm not sure you scored that right. It looks like the G-2 is split. So, you should only have 3 G measurements and one abnormal point measurement. It will probably still come out to roughly the same score though. Just thought I would let you know.

You got that right. I looked online and found a good diagram/ directions but still wasn't sure. So I measured it all but probally mislabeled. I called the eyeguard g-1 for an inch and a half, but does that just count as 1 point?

The G-1 or the eye guard as

The G-1 or the eye guard as you guys out west call it, we call it the brow tine in the mid-west and the east would be your G-1. If it was 1 4/8 inches it would be 1.5 inches. Is that what your question was?

Last night around 7pm I nailed a nice mature buck. I will be getting up the story and pictures later. I'm guessing he will score between 120"-130". It is a typical 6x5 with a kicker off of the right brow tine.

Here is my 2011 entry for the archery contest. I shot this buck with my Horton Legend crossbow on the evening of October 10th at 7:05pm. I used an Easton XX75 arrow tipped with the Rage 2 blade broadhead. The buck gave me a 15 yard slight quartering to shot and he ran about 100 yards and went down.

You don't get any added

You don't get any added credit for taking a whitetail. However, you did miss a circumference  on the left side. There are always 4 measurements per side no matter how many points there are.
