Which scope to buy

Cant go wrong with a Burris, or you can still get a good deal on a Nitrex. Try to spend a little more for a top model and you will not be sorry...

I've only ever owned Leupold scopes on my biggame and target rifles and none have ever let me down.  Never had an issue with any of them over the last 20 years of owning a few.  The only time I've deviated from Leupold was recently when I wanted an inexpensive rimfire 4X scope for a new Ruger 10/22 I bought recently. I went with a Simmons 4X .22 Mag rimfire scope I paid $37 for.  I know were not talking rimfire here, but I'm very impressed with that Simmons scope, the brightness, sharpness, and construction are much more than I would have expected from such a brand at that pricepoint. If their rimfire is this good I'd like to see what their centerfire scopes are like these days. Big smile

you should try this Nikon 4.5-14x40,  http://amzn.to/InBEYp

or this Barska 10-40x50  http://amzn.to/J7Q4It

The Nikon is a bit more pricey but i think you definately get what you pay for
