I was wondering if anyone can help me identify this scat. I'm in KS and found it in the open in the middle of a trail while checking trail cams. Seemed pretty fresh at the time and several days before caught what i believe to a mt. lion on the cam. Not real sure what it is. Can anyone help. It is about 6in long and i would say 1in-1.5in wide.

yep looks like some "shit" right there, awsome picture!! cant realy tell from the pic but if there's hair in it i'd say its a cat terd it looks to big to be a cyote terd. 
I'm not sure, it could be a cat, it looks to big to be a yote and deffinatly doesnt look like bear. maybe a dog? how close to civilization was it? did you see any cat tracks?
