Just reading through the January newsletter and I see that you will be giving up your duties as the "Western Hunter". I want to tell you that your articles are some of the most interesting and informative that I have read on the subject. I actually have a couple bookmarked to review before taking my combo hunt to CO this fall or next.

I hope your new job is taking you on to bigger and better things. Hopefully you will still be stopping in to shoot the bull, even if not as a full time writer. Thanks, and best of luck!

P.S. I would like to volunteer to fill that writer's spot. I think that 4 deer in 25 years, of which only one was shot in the west, and no elk should qualify me, correct??? Okay, maybe for comic relief....
