I was turkey hunting the other day in San Diego county, and came across 3 buck walking together. the first one was already over his ears, and had forks at least 2 inches deep. The second was about even with his ears and starting to fork, and the third was half way up the ears.

Now, i know antlers grow fast, but it amazed me that on the 13th of May, and with 3 months or so left to grow, they were that good.....

Anyway, just wanted to pass it along. Thought it was cool. They passed by me at 20-25 yards broadside, didn't even get a hint I was there. Too bad it wasn't September 6th already.....
