savage arms 10 BA or 110 BA

A buddy brought over his savage 110ba rifle on saturday .  wow.  we where shooting torso size rocks at 900 yards.  it was a very impressive rifle.  But i don't want to reload.  and the 338 lapua is very expensive to shoot. 

So i was looking at the savage 10ba which looks like the 110ba but in a .308.

What other tactical rifles are out there that don't cost and arm and leg.

It's hard to beat the Savage Model 10 for value and accuracy. If it doesn't have to be a tactical rifle then their Model 12 series are fine long range rifles. For that matter I have seen somebody take a Savage Model 12 BVSS and have it duracoated to a dull dark gray on the metal and a flat dark earth on the wood stock.
