I have been leaning towards the Tikka however, Savage has upgraded the Weather Warrior Model 16 with the Accutrigger, Accustock, and a "BOSS" type of muzzle brake. The chief complaint from Savage shooters has been the weak synthetic stock but Savage has beafed it up by adding an alluminum bedding that runs the full length of the fore arm and locks down the action with set screws against the recoil lug. The BOSS style muzzle brake should also impact accuracy with this all ready accurate rifle. Tikka, on the other hand, has been producing a great rifle that gets great reviews on various forums. Provided the Savage can be had for the same or near same amount as the Tikka, I am now wondering which rifle to purchase.

Go with the savage. I have not seen one that hasn't been extremely accurate and the weather warrior is supposed to be superb.
