Savage 111 Trophy Hunter .338 Win Mag ? .338 win mag for younger kids ?

Does anyone know where I can find a cheap Savage 111 Trophy Hunter .338 Win Mag ? I've seen Left Hand Models for around 500 dollars.

Now to the second part of my question...

Could a kid with mild shooting experience ( 20 gauge and hot .270 loads ) handle some reduced recoil loads ? Some go down to 30-06 recoil/performance all the way down to almost .243 performance and recoil. How hard would it be if you had the bullet type, weight, powder amount/weight, C.O.L., etc. ? Would you be concerned about about the recoil coming at him ? Any other load data ( full data please ) would be helpful and if you aren't comfortable sharing it on the forum could you PM me ?
