I am needing the bolt, someone tried to (improve) wreck the bolt, I guess they didn't like the floating head or something... so I got it at a good price but am scared to shoot it with that bolt..ground on welded..lol, looks scarey!! thanks Chuck

Brownells. They should have the basic bolt and the bolt face assembly if you need both or just one or the other.

Most rifle manufactures will
Most rifle manufactures will not sell you the bolt for you to do the install yourself due to liability issues, but you can buy some parts and it depends on just how competent you are as far as installing them. The best thing to do is to find a competent gunsmith that can correct what was done to the bolt and then have him do it or send the rifle back to Savage for them to install a new bolt.
