Sasquatch Sightings Increase During Hunting Season...

I was seeing the ivory billed woodpecker in the 60's and even in the 80's we called them (lord gods) because they were so big and their bill just shined and was about 2 inches long.

Maybe these so called bigfoot sightings are actually hunters walking out of the woods wearing their GHILLE SUITS. Ive got one and if you didnt know better you may think swamp thing is in the woods also.

Hey...I have no problem with that. Just as long as you can stand up to be
eight feet and 600 lbs.+.

Even if the thing exists and one has been killed, the gov. will not let it get out just like UFOS.

You're probably right in that aspect...

If it is found, it creates many problems. Protection areas, logging, the
environmentalists, animal rights activists, government and scientific
intervention, etc.

And what some are tossing around in the wind - what could you charge
a hunter with for shooting one. What's the classification? They don't even
know if it's a resemblance of man yet, or North America's great ape.

I had a former BFRO researcher make this comparison to me and it made a lot of sense. He said "Jeff, you live in Colorado and the Colorado Division of Wildlife thinks that between 3000-7000 Mountain Lions live in your State. How many people see a Mountain Lion in CO? What if they're only 50-200 Sasquatches in the entire state of Colorado. What's the odds that many people will ever see one? Especially when the Sasquatch seems to be smarter, shyer and more elusive then the mountain lion."
I have been a skeptic for many years but I wouldn't be shocked if they exist.

Heres my thing.....If they do exist????? Why do we not have more definitive proof? Why do they not show their face more often? How could they be that inelligent? I think it is just a fantasy made up by our own imagination. If they do exist and it is proven by a capture, I think it would be the most awesome creature ever known.

Hiker-

That's a good point.

And if you travel north to a place like British Columbia, and larger States in
the U.S. - those numbers vary greatly.

I found that the Sasquatch was involved with the garden scenario in the
Princeton, B.C. area. It was willing to take the chance - coming down from
the north. And what I was told later by a Researcher (Thomas Steenburg) -
that nine months after our 1985 sighting of the animal, in the Coalmont
area, about eight miles away, the Sasquatch was seen looking in windows of cabins and such there. We didn't know that at the time - I found this out just a
few years ago. With Princeton's population almost cut in half, this gives the
biped animal even more room and less chance of being uncovered.

I would like to add, that concerning the web-cams and technical end of it, it
seems the Sasquatch can thus far detect the starting and operating
frequencies of such technology. I know of one individual that works in the
Field - he is working on a system that responds otherwise. The animal is
curious, but it isn't stupid. Otherwise they would have been uncovered. I
tested this type of thing on a Buck and two Does this Summer. On the
initial start-up of our digital camera, with them maybe...200 feet away ( me
practically motionless) - they stopped and looked my way when the camera
started up. Now - there is a second sound that my wife implemented after
that - birds chirping. -They did not respond to this sound - the possible
sound of nature, although produced artificially. I tried these sequences more
than once.

And in the last while, I have a possible situation, that the Sasquatch may be
smart enough to stick to rocky or solid ground at times - trying to avoid
tracking - when those types of surfaces are available to it. Otherwise, it's
still open-season.

Mentioned earlier - the problem that I have - I've seen the damn thing. I don't
know how it continues to be so lucky, or avoid capture or exposure.
