I have been going out west of Salt Lake City, Utah to look for these bucks and other deer lots of times but sometimes they're not easy to find.

But on this night I found them in a draw and I couldn't get any good pictures of them.

But I knew if I waited they would move somewhere as luck would have it they headed up the hill about 300 yards away me with the city in the background probably ten or more miles away in the background it was cool because the angle of the hill matched up with elevation of the city.

I waited about three hours to get the shot or shots 87 total.

I thought it was a cool shot and sounds like many other people liked it also.

I wasn't sure how the pictures would look but when I got home I thought they were nice shots.

The name CITY BUCKS just fits the pictures. Its nice to know that there are still big bucks out there, even in the city for everybody to enjoy.

That is a `Wall Hanger'. One thing that really cheers my heart - is the proximity of wildlife to the `City' (cities in general). I don't know if it's always been that way - or just that I'm becoming more aware. Great pic.

We don't believe this photo is faked or a photoshop job. We have the full resolution large photo on file here and it looks very real. It does not look like the photo has been "chopped" or rearranged in any way.

We studied that photo closely before posting and are confident that it is for REAL.

We've written to Dave and invited him to join the forum and post a response.

Hi

I am Dave Peterson of Moose Hollow Outdoors.

I'm the one that shot the picture of CITY BUCKS and would like to invite anybody to see where the picture was taken maybe we will get lucky enough to see the bucks again in the area.

I can see how people might think that its fake because the setting is hard to believe.

I don't want anybody to fill like its made up or fake.

Give me a call 801-910-0721 Dave Peterson or run out and see it for yourself its on 5500 so
And 8300 w in Magna Utah. Many people in the valley have seen them.

Hey thanks for looking.

Take a look at my web page.

The picture "CITY BUCKS" is in a few magazines now and next month.

Hope this answers any questions that some people may have.

Thanks again.

i believe i know where this pic was taken and dont deny the fact that it does "look" a little corny Think with the city in the backround, but can you blame the guy for questioning the authenticity of it with all the "photo~choppn" on the net these days Brick Wall,)

nice bucks Thumbs up

I haven't zoomed in on the pic - but it would be a lot of work to `chop' around every antler tine, fence post, and blade of grass, just to merge two pictures.
