Safari at Shiawela

New to the forum. Hello to everyone. Went to Shiawela Safaris in South Africa a few weeks ago with my wife. Truly magical place. I think my wife loved it as much as I did, and she's not even a hunter.
I'll try to post some pics.
For some reason I can only post 3, so here they are. But I did end up with 7 animals total. Kudu, Gemsbuck, Blue Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Zebra, Impalla, Warthog. Great time. Below is some info.

.270 for everything. Had no problems. In South Africa, you dont have to use .338 and above until you start hunting dangerous game. It may be the same other places.

Interesting. I would have thought a .270 would be too light, but guess not.

What grain and make bullet did you use?

I have a .270 that I love so I am interested in hearing about your bullet selection.

.270 Winchester Trophy bonded tip. I think its a 130 grain controlled expansion tip. Worked wonderfully. Out of the 7 animals, the widebeest ran the farthest at aproximately 35 meters.

It was Awesome!

Thanks! The hunting was awesome. It is truly one of the most magical places I've ever been. I've never been in the African Summer and seeing all the green and young animals was an experience. The lower visability ended up being a less of a hinderance and more of an advantage with the extra cover. It allowed us to stalk very close to animlas that one would have never gotten close to in the Winter time. This place has got some of the largest waterbuck I have ever seen. I chose not to take one because of financial reasons, but if I would have had the money...wow. I was seriously considering shooting one of the biggest I've ever seen in person or on TV when a herd of Zebra ran in between us and the herd of waterbuck. I've been searching for a Zebra for a while by now. The stallion ran right up to us, at 15 meters and turned broadside. It was truly exciting. Needless to say, I passed on the waterbuck and went with the zebra. Everyone who gets the opportunity should experience Shiawela. The group there is so nice, you will never forget them.
