I want to buy a left handed Safari rifle. Does anyone know who makes a good rifle for African game in left handed configuration ? I want something with a claw extractor, will be hunting dangerous game and I also don't want to pay more than $2,500 for the gun. Anyone got any ideas ?

For whatever it's worth I've been looking at 375s lately. I just stumbled on to the CZ-USA sight and discovered that these are also the well known "Brno" or "Brunos" that people from Africa are always talking about. I phoned a friend who is a former PH (and also very finicky about rifles) and he couldn't say enough about them. I read an article written by another PH on rifle selection and he has very good things to say as well (if you are interested I can post the website where I found it.) Sounds like these are one of the staple rifles over there (???) and CZ offers a good African caliber selection.

The price is very reasonable (MSRP $999.00) for the 'Plain Jane' version but I didn't dowlnload the catalog to see if they had a left handed version - I'm just sort of assuming that they do.

Drat, sorry about that. I just figured they made a lefty seeing how they're not really a small potatoes type of outfit. I just got back from looking at their 375 at the shop - looked like a good working rifle and had everything I wanted, fit me well, and pointed prefectly.
